Concurrent/Dual Enrollment

Bound Brook High School’s partnership with Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) provides students with opportunities to academically challenge themselves on an even higher level while earning college credits during the school day. Credits earned at RVCC can be transferred to many other colleges and universities.

Eligibility:

• Available only to junior and senior students
• Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (exceptions may be made with a letter of support from a teacher in the appropriate discipline)
• Signature from the high school guidance counselor and a parent/guardian are required
• Students must meet prerequisites for desired courses
• Students enrolling in an english, math, or foreign language course require:
  • A minimum average grade of B
  • Parent/guardian consent
  • Guidance counselor permission
  • Appropriate RVCC Placement Test scores (or a high enough SAT, ACT, or NJSLA score)
